In the ending of The Dark Knight Rises it seems more like John Blake becomes Batman, but it would also be cool for him to adopt as Dick Grayson's Nightwing. Bruce Wayne actually explains that Batman could be anyone so it would be more ideal for Blake to take over the role.

Since the first appearance of Batman on screen in 1943, the Caped Crusader has gone through transformation after transformation, batman costumes changes after change some more subtle than others. When looked at in their entire scope, the changes over the years have essentially made the Batman a new person altogether.

When it comes to the Dark Knight Batman, it seems to be tradition that the outfit change with each outing. My favorite will always be the Adam West costume, the Classic Grey and Blue Spandex Batsuit used on the TV show and movie.

Christian Bale’s Black Batman Costume is modern and functional, but too black. It’s too dark and brooding for my taste. It still looks cool, but it just doesn’t say Batman to me, especially with the vanishing bat symbol on the chest.

The way tights look in comic has become more and more exaggerated over the decades, and it's gone from representing what was simply accepted as the pinnacle of costume design during a more archaic era of superheroes, to being some kind of otherworldy material that does not exist in real life which is poured over the muscles of characters with impossible muscular proportions. Fans might not like it, but they should turn their ire towards the comic artists who set their expectations so ridiculously high in the first place for what tights and undies should look like. As soon as you concede that something other than skin-tight fabric and a cloth cowl need to be used for the costume, you can no longer make the claim of being "comic book accurate." Again, the accurate comic book costume still looks good. If it didn’t, Batman would never look cool. Spandex or not, Batman's costume design always rocks, at least for me.

The classic and comic accurate Batman Suit is a tight-fitting Spandex bodysuit, contrasting briefs are worn over a unitard similar to many superheroes. Batman #1 revealed that there is a ballistic vest sewn into the costume. In modern depictions, the briefs are integrated into the main costume, so that section of the costume constitutes only a seam and color change from the rest of the suit. Let's be honest here. If you were Spidey, you'd try and maximize your effectiveness as much as possible and be more inclined to use tech-based suits like the Iron Spider Costume. Speaking personally, one of the reasons I really liked Ben Reilly was because he reminded me of how creative Spidey really was when he expanded his arsenal to use Stingers and Impact Webbing, something Spidey never incorporated into his own arsenal. If I were Peter, I'd have definitely have started using them after seeing Ben use them.zentai suits

Here are my ideas about some possibilities...

1. A new villain gets his hands on the Iron Spider costume, and becomes a recurring villain. It's worked in the past (Venom) although I don't see it working as well. You could use it to drum up interest in a new villain, and then kill him.

2. An old villain gets his hands on the Iron Spider costume, perhaps someone with mechanical/ electric talents (Spider Slayers, Electro, any of the Goblins, etc.)

3. New superhero, perhaps someone in Iron Man's employ, a SHIELD agent, a Slinger, a Young Avenger, or a clone. It could work well as a mystery, and could increase interest in whatever book the new guy stars in.

Didn't like when the saga went into "who is the real Peter Parker" phase and Ben's subsequent costume change (and some other weird stuff...).

Even though the Scarlet Spider costume is quite "simple", it was basically red/scarlet full body suit with a blue rippled type jacket, but I like it, because I liked Ben's character at that time.

Ben Reilly Returns from the Grave in “Scarlet Spider #21″

I think people could reasonably have hope that Marvel will bring back Ben Reilly and make an awesome story out of him. I mean, it's certainly possible, that Ben Reilly will be getting some long-needed redemption, which he will immediately squander by wearing a sleeveless, light-blue hoodie.

Now this cover by Ryan Stegman for Scarlet Spider #21 shows that the original Scarlet Spider is very much back, and is still able to find people who are making that Scarlet Spider costume! Of course, speculation is still flying as to whether this is in fact Ben Reilly, but between the outfit and the use of the iconic “impact webbing” that Reilly was so fond of using, all signs point to yes.

The black Spiderman costume has a large white spider on the chest and back and white organic web-shooters on the backs of the hands. A variation on the black costume is featured in the film Spider-Man 3. The Spiderman 3 black suit includes the webbing pattern from Spider-Man's red and blue costume with a black coloring and a slightly altered spider symbol, both on his chest and back. The same costume is also worn by Venom, with the added details of Venom's signature teeth, a more muscular appearance and a spider on his chest that closer resembles the comic book version's spider emblem.

The Spiderman Black Suit/Symbiote Suit is probably the most popular variation of all spiderman costumes. It first introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #252 and famously appears again in the hugely popular Secret Wars crossover event. The costume is black, has a large white spider design on the chest area, slightly larger eye pieces and white organic web-shooters on the back of each hand.

The suit has been a fan favorite for years and will occasionally make an appearance from time to time, but mainly used for stealthy missions as it’s actually an alien symbiote that attaches itself to Peter Parker and mimics his abilities as Spider-Man. In Spider-Man 3, the symbiote attaches to Peter's bike early in the film. Later on, the symbiote covers his entire suit while he is asleep in the original red and blue costume. Much later in the movie, Peter takes off the symbiote, and as Eddie Brock is watching, gets engulfed by the symbiote to become Venom.

The New and The Classic Scarlet Spider-Man Costumes Comparison

The Scarlet Spider Ben Reilly costume (the classic with the blue sleeveless hoodie)has always been one of the most popular Spider-Man costumes because of its fun and quirky design.

Although it was much-maligned and critically-bashed for years afterward, many 1990′s comic book readers have developed fond memories of the Clone Saga. Almost unanimously, readers will agree that the high point of this era of Spider-Man was the introduction of Ben Reilly, Peter Parker’s clone who would temporarily take his mantle as the Sensational Spider-Man. Ben Reilly’s following was strong enough that despite his death in the comics over a decade ago, fans still clamor for his return and demand new toys and statues of the character. As you may have guessed, I love this character and I love his design.

The new Scarlet Spider costume was announced for The Amazing Spider-Man Costumes. For those who do not know the history, the Scarlet Spider was the evil clone of Peter Parker who was created by the Jackal to fight and defeat Spider-Man but was eventually reformed. The official statement says: “In Spider-Man comics, a reformed evil clone of Peter Parker now patrols the streets of Houston, Texas. This is the costume he wears.”

The suit is much like a divers suit, zips up. Diver's suits are skin tight to allow your body to stay warm. The reason is because Scarlet Spider and Spider-Man are 2 totally different people, Kaine, the newest Scarlet is a clone of Peter. And the mask and feet? They also again act like a Diver Suit. There are special skin tight boots and masks for one to wear. It's easy to apply the physics of a suit if you think about it.

The Iron Spider costume was first given by Iron Man as a gift to Peter Parker. After Spiderman got rid of the Iron Spider costume and went back to his classic red and blue costume, the Red Team aka the Scarlet Spiders put this costume on.

The default look for this costume is a metallic red skin-tight suit covering the entire body with eyepieces, spider-legs, and a spider symbol on the chest, all in gold. The fabric of the costume is a liquid nano-fiber that can more or less disappear when needed. Three spider-legs in the back can pick things up and works as pseudo fingers; they also have cameras that can be display images in the costume's eyepieces. The spider-legs are all hidden in the costume's golden circle part in the back and can be deployed simply by mental command. The suit can adjust to mimic background colors or other Spider-Man costume patterns as well as turning Spider-Man invisible.

Jessica Drew Spider Woman Costumes

Jessica Drew is the most famous woman to take on the role of Spider-Woman. She’s not only the first Spider-Woman in comic books but also the one had her own animated television series that lasted from 1979 to 1980.

The most well-known Spider-Woman costume is the red and yellow costume. This tight full body suit is brightly colored for the comic book world but bares a lot of similarities to the black widow spider. Rather than having the main color be black, the dominate color is red. The red hourglass associated with black widows is then colored in yellow on her costume. Spider-Woman’s womanly curves are accentuated by having this hourglass shape placed in the center of her costume.

The original Jessica Drew spider-woman costume looks very similar to her present costume. The only major variation lies in the mask design. This would be one of the few times a woman taking on the role of Spider-Woman would cover her long hair. Most preferred the windblown look.
